Behind the Camera
Your Private Commission -
Each Photoshoot is as individual as you and your dog. But here's an outline of what happens before, during and after your shoot.
When you've decided that you'd like to go ahead and make a booking, . I'll respond either by e-mail or telephone if you leave me your number. We will then discuss everything you'd like to know. We'll discuss what you'll hope to achieve and whether there are any of my images that you love and would like to replicate. We'll discuss how long the photoshoot will take, what you should wear, whether to bring treats or toys? We'll also discuss what sort of locations your dog loves, we want to choose somewhere he or she will have a fantastic time because that will show in every single photograph.
After we've talked and you've decided to go ahead, we'll settle upon a date and pencil it into our diaries. Only then will I ask you to either pay for the photoshoot through "My Shop" or if you prefer, we can arrange for me to invoice you for the full photoshoot amount so that you can pay by bank transfer. Once I've received payment, I'll be in touch again to confirm all the details and to ensure you're very happy with the date we've chosen, it's very easy to change dates at this time if you've had thoughts of an alternative.
During the week prior the photoshoot, I'll be checking the weather forecasts closely and if it looks likely that the weather will be poor, then I'll contact you to rearrange. The photographs will be very important to you and to me and I'd much rather wait for the good weather and light.
After the photoshoot, I will edit your photographs and place them into a private album on my web site. The album will be accessed with login details private to you. As all of my photoshoots* include a mounted image printed on fine art paper, I will ask you to choose the print you'd like to have. It's at this stage also when you will be able to order any additional items.
I offer a full range of printed materials from wonderfully rich HD acrylic prints to archival quality canvases to acrylic cubes for your desk to image downloads or your own personalised Christmas cards and Notelets. I also offer a completely bespoke framing service. If there is anything you have in mind for your images, I will do my very best to enable you to obtain it. I want your photographs to be beautiful in your home and to have a special place in your heart.
*except The Puppy Shoot which includes a "Year Book" in place of the mounted print.
